I could feel the Christmas noose beginning to tighten.

On my quest for new Christmas finds I decided to tackle All I Want for Christmas. I remember when this movie came out in 1991, and even at age 11 it could not grab my attention. Now that I have seen it I realize 11 would have been the perfect viewing age. Think Parent Trap meets um....well any other Christmas movie. It stars a very young Thora Birch & Ethan Embryand who do a decent job except for how annoying Ethan's character is. He acts much to mature for his age, but like i said before I probably would have loved his character when I was younger. I may have seen him as a cool guy. It's kind of like meeting that kid who thinks he can hang with the adults because of the clever quips they can throw out. The movie had some other big names. Kevin Neilan plays the mothers new boyfriend, Lesley Neilson plays Santa Clause, and Lauren Bacall plays the Grandmother! All in all it was cute Christmas movie, but very forgettable and one I probably won't really ever have a desire to revisit.

You can enjoy the trailer here.

That's enough of that. In my next post I will be covering the Andy Williams & TV Guide Look at Christmas DVDs. Until than, check out this clip from the Andy Williams show. It may give you an idea of how it went.
