I want a red rider 200 shot carbine action range model air rifle with a compass and this thing which tells time built right in the stock.

Well, no tree yet, and I have been awol because of a flu bug. However, I did have a Christmas party this past Monday Night. That's right, a Christmas party on November 30th with no Christmas tree or any holiday decor. There were cheese logs, Velveeta & rotel, Christmas cookies, Nog & Rum, Hot Apple Cider (and rum), pecan pie, and of course my Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts.

Here is the Recipe for the Chestnut goodness:

Here is what you need:

1 Pound of Bacon (cut into thirds)
16 Ounce Canned Water Chestnuts (cut large ones in half)
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup of Chili Sauce
1 Cup of Miracle Whip
Toothpicks

Preheat oven at 350
Wrap bacon around the water chestnuts and secure it by inserting toothpicks to hold them upright.
Position them into an ungreased baking dish.
Bake for 45 min minutes

While the Water Chestnuts are baking, mix the Brown Sugar, Chili Sauce & Miracle Whip together in a bowl.

Remove the Water Chestnuts from the oven and drain the dish of all the grease.
Pour the Sauce over the Baked Water Chestnuts. Again, make sure you drain them before pouring the sauce on them!!!

Now bake them for an additional 20 minutes.

Remove them and enjoy my favorite Christmas Snack of all time!

I made a kick butt Christmas mix, we watched Rudolph, and a great time was had by all. This is by no means my only Christmas party of the season. The big one is yet to come, and VELVET better make it to this one!!!!
