Here is another potential new classic. Sometimes when Modern artists do their take on Christmas songs it just sounds like...a punk version of this, or a pop version of that. Sixpence None The Richer have made a Christmas record completely in their style. They keep the songs familiar, but it is so obviously their arrangements. And the selection of songs is really great. Carol Of The Bells sounds like the perfect Christmas song for them to cover. Christmas Island is fun and whymsical, and the Joni Mitchell song River is a great choice.
