So.....Christmas is next week! I love finally being able to say that! One week from today is my last day of work before the holidays, we are having a little Christmas get together tonight (Thai food & Love Actually), Christmas with Velvet and her family is on Saturday, and day by day more Christmas cards & ordered presents arrive in our mail box. I know I need to slow down and enjoy the season instead of just wishing for that one day to arrive.
This year My wife and I will be spending Christmas with her Mom . Brother, Sister, and Grandmother in Leisure World! No it's not an amusement park. It's a retirement village. Christmas eve we are loading up the car and heading out to...P.F. Chang's? Oh well, I love new experiences. I have the menu set for Christmas Day! My Mother-In-Law will be in Grandmother-In-Law's kitchen fixin' up some ....Enchiladas? Why not? We will also be having lots of snacks & appetizers like my Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts, Cheese Log, Cheese Wreath, and so many other ways to have an extremely unhealthy day!
It is going to be a very different Christmas than I am used to, but I am so excited & know it's going to be fantastic!
